As most things in life come unexpected I got a call from my friend Brooks over at Decades hat Co. to invited me to take part in a fish tank installation, for the new Corsa that was opening in a weeks time. (not to mention we needed to leave 48 hours for the water and fish to acclimate before opening.)
The reason I was being brought on board was because the idea for the tank was to be all Legos! Brooks and I stopped by the new Corsa shop on south street that was still very much under construction to check out the tank and feel of the store, then drove to few stores to obtain an amount of lego sets that only exist in most ten year old boys wet dreams.
We divided up the sets and planned a full anarchy assault on the Lego city police. Jail breaks, movie style executions, arson, graffiti, bank robbery, and many more hidden gems amongst the debris an mayhem. I even added a few of my own custom minifigure AirRats to help the lowlifes in their debauchery.
Stop in Corsas new location on south street across the street from our good friends at Tattooed Moms, and check out the Decades Hat co. Soon to drop their newest vintage fabric line! Select pictures of the build and tank bellow.
Also thought this was the perfect time I announce I will be the featured artist at the next PhshTank party presented by Place Your Art Here and hosted by DJ Phsh at Fluid Night club in Philadelphia on Sat July 28th 10pm-2am. I’m still working in what limited edition artist multiples I will be making to give away shirts, prints, minifigure pins, or something new. (Leave your thoughts and ideas what I should give away as a comment or email email@example.com)
